Biography

Kara Butler English

It may seem trite, but to me art is life.  My mom was a professional artist, and all of her family create some kind of art.  Most of her brothers and sisters also worked in the journalism/newspaper field as well.  Both of my parents built and designed their own home and repurposed furniture and landscape elements of that home.  When my older brother went to college at age forty, and took his first art course, he too fell in love with art and received an art degree.  My children also went this direction as well and if you study with me, be warned, you are at risk to fall in love with art!
