Charcoal Drawing

Generals Powdered Charcoal is an interesting media to create addition and subtraction charcoal drawings. The surface of the drawing paper is tinted with the powdered charcoal and then using erasers and various charcoal sticks and pencils the drawing is completed.

White chalk is then used at the last step to finish this technique. I enjoy the expressionistic quality to this media.
